The Farmer Veteran Fellowship Fund is designed to assist veterans beginning a career in food and farming, and assist current Farmer Veterans with business expansion. There are two branches of the Fellowship Fund, the Business Branch and the Education & Training Branch. Fellowship Fund grantees are awarded not only monetary assistance but also in-kind supplies, one-on-one farm advice, as well as mentorships. The Fellowship Fund is overseen by the Fellowship Fund Advisory Panel, which is made up of experts and business leaders in America’s agricultural community. This exchange of knowledge and support between panel members and grantees is what makes the Farmer Veteran Fellowship Fund unique, and contributes to sustainable futures for our Farmer Veteran grantees’.

Job and InternshipOpportunitiesThe Farmer Veteran Coalition (FVC) can help match you with job and internship/apprenticeship placement. FVC networks with the agriculture industry to determine employment needs and gaps that can be filled by veterans.

Farmer EquipmentDonationsBeginning and established farmers face several challenges when it comes to starting or expanding their farm. The purpose of the Equipment Donation Program will be to get equipment to veterans that need it.
