I had a partner serving in Afghanistan in &#039;06-07, and I have so much respect for the important work that she and so many of her colleagues did over there (she was part of a medical unit serving one of the main hospitals there), and the immense challenges they and their Afghan allies faced. Thank you for all your work with returning vets--there&#039;s nothing like seeing new growth happen in the soil under your feet to bring back hope.</description>
